The Equirando 2012 will take place from 27 to 29 July in the Haras national du pin in Normandie (France).

The Equirando  is an event of the National Equestrian Tourism Committee of the French Equestrian Federation. It is one of the largest european gatherings of riders and drawn carriage leaders, practicing horse riding outdoors. She takes her name of the combination of horse riding and trekking.

Equirando is a prompting of trekking and discovery of the regions by the school child's path, at the rhythm of the horse steps. Riders who practice equirando come from all of France and Europe, and go towards the place rallying for the D Day. This is an option of liberty : everyone leaves where he wants, when he wants, with his horse, his mule, his donkey, riding or tethering. One order word, to do 100km minimum, no other reward than to participate in this adventure, visit the region and find oneself at the big bivouac of Equirando, for three days of celebration and sharing of the commun passion of horse and nature.
