Memorandum of Understanding between the FITE and the FEI

On June 20th, 2017, the Fédération internationale de tourisme équestre and the Fédération équestre internationale concluded a memorandum of understanding

The FEI recognizes exclusively the FITE for those missions: promotion, rules and organisation, of the international equestrian tourism, of leisure and competition. Also, equestrian hiking, TREC, working and traditional equitation..., are represented at the international scale.

At this title, the FITE is engaged to respect the ethical rules of the FEI.

This agreement signs the recognition by the Fédération équestre internationale of the work carried out by the FITE, the two entities keeping managers of their own disciplines.

One year after the signature of the MoU, the FITE and the FEI continue to make living this agreement, sitting the role of the FITE as the manager of tourist activities related to equine using.  

EuroWorld championship of TREC  

The TREC EuroWorld Championships took place on the 30 August to the 1st September 2018 in Bracciano, Italy.

This event gathered 90 riders from 18 nations. Two countries were represented off competition, China and Russia.

European Championships of Working Equitation

The European Championships of Working Equitation took place in Eersel, Netherland from 23 to 26 August 2018. 

Four nations were represented in seniors and young riders levels for a total close to 40 riders in competition.
