The FITE Board of Directors met on the 6th December, closing the year 2018.

The discussions focused on the regulatory changes, developed during the TREC and Working Equitation sports commissions, held shortly before the Board. These modifications have been validated by the Board and will be effective in January 2019.

During this meeting, the schedule of the European TREC Cup was also determined. At the same time, the Board and the Working Equitation Commission took the decision to develop a similar tour for the discipline. A schedule should be established soon.

The Board was also an opportunity to discuss the upcoming European Championships, whose organizers will be announced shortly. As such, the draw of the order of countries departure was carried out, the result:

Equestrian tourism has not been forgotten at this meeting, the FITE Board established a new working group for the development and promotion of routes, rally, and regulations of equestrian tourism abroad.

The President of FITE also reminded that one of the missions of FITE members is to use their special links with foreign federations to develop equestrian tourism in a larger number of countries.

Centaure 2019

The legendary three days, three nights Raid Centaure POR will take place this year in Llagostera, Spain, from February 8th to 10th. All information at links below.

EuroWorld championship of TREC  

The TREC EuroWorld Championships took place on the 30 August to the 1st September 2018 in Bracciano, Italy.

This event gathered 90 riders from 18 nations. Two countries were represented off competition, China and Russia.

European Championships of Working Equitation

The European Championships of Working Equitation took place in Eersel, Netherland from 23 to 26 August 2018. 

Four nations were represented in seniors and young riders levels for a total close to 40 riders in competition.
